The Tub is Out

The Request: This master bathroom in Clairemont neighborhood had great size and worked well overall. However, a huge outdated tub overtook the whole space. The clients wanted this removed to make way for a makeup desk and mirror along with more space in general as the tub was never used. In addition, they had a beautiful two way fireplace from the master bedroom to the master bathroom that we designed to match the rest of the updated household.

The Work: Rip it out all including the tub and close off those pipes and drains.

• Demolition: Full removal of the existing tub, vanity, shower, toilet, tile floor and fireplace surround.

• Infrastructure: We deleted the plumbing for the tub to insure no future issues and installed a new shower valve and drain as well.

• Upgraded Finishes: Fully tiled shower with bench, high end large double vanity and new fireplace surround.

• Final Touch: The tile floor went all the way into the closet which is off the bathroom to create a consistency of space.
