The Hillcrest Hallway

The Challenge: The original hallway bathroom featured dated, builder-grade finishes and a plastic shower insert that didn't match the home's potential. As this space also serves as the primary guest bathroom, the clients wanted to transition from a utilitarian room to a sophisticated, high-end retreat.

The Solution: I performed a full-scale renovation while maintaining the existing footprint to maximize the budget. The scope included:

  • Demolition: Full removal of the existing fiberglass tub/shower insert, vanity, and flooring.

  • Infrastructure: Inspection of all plumbing lines to ensure long-term reliability while keeping fixtures in their original locations for efficiency.

  • Upgraded Finishes: Installation of a deep soaker tub paired with tub-to-ceiling tile walls, a premium modern vanity, and high-efficiency toilet.

  • Final Touch: A new designer tile floor was installed to tie the aesthetic together, creating a space that is as durable as it is beautiful.
